A good, dirty win. I actually like temper tantrum Pastner rather than calmly watching disaster on the court. He needs to keep his foot up this team’s ass and they can’t take a single minute off

So we win a game despite 20+ turnovers, I never would've thought that.

Also like to see Banks starting to dominate. I wondered how he would match up against good bigs and he schooled his matchup last night, who is projected to go in the 1st round.

Yeah, it's hard to believe a young team that lost its top 3 scorers would be inconsistent.

Well when the previous coach didn't recruit and relied on grad transfer every year, it's easy to believe. CJP has is guys right now, but they are all young.
Our rotation last night: Jose(So), Devoe (Fr), Moore (Fr), Hayward (So), Banks (Jr.) Wright (So)

That win is going to mean a lot more to this team than just a +1 in the W column. We are ready for the Dwags, bring 'em on!

No doubt, I believe G-web game got the teams attention. Keep it going boys!

This is not a poorly coached team at all. We have lots of wide open shots in virtually every game. Sometimes a coach just can't teach a guy like Gaeye how to finish. You can teach them the post move, but you can't always teach them how to close. (I had an athletic girl on a AAU team that I ran the same play four times a game for and every game she caught the ball wide open and just could not put away the lay up. She was a great lacrosse player but just didn't have it in her to finish.)

Anyway, I think we play fairly well for a 3 star team for the most part.

After re-watching the end of the game, The Gus makes a very good point. Especially after the way the refs called the game all night long. A reffing suckfest, but a good road win none the less.

Alvarado needs to be assertive every game like he was this game. Don't force things, but dictate the pace of the game. Kudos to him for his play and for setting the tone on the road.

We need Jose to score more. He's a fairly smooth finisher. Need to get him moving toward the basket more often.

He’s our best scoring option. Seems like the plan is to make Devoe the primary ball handler, so that Alvarado doesn’t have the burden of bringing the ball up the court.

We'll see how things shake out this year, but I haven't been super impressed with CJP. He's actually been a better in-game coach than I expected, but I've been really disappointed with our recruiting. I think we've done okay, but we're continuing to strike out on every big target we go after, which was supposedly his strength.
