At least this thought will comfort me through tonight.

I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. UGA gave us every chance to win and we blew it. If our D gave up one 3rd and 12 first down this year, I bet they gave up a hundred.

What time is the press conference?

Mercy. For the love of Mike have mercy.

Same ol', same ol'.....

Next year might be 'ol again, but it won't be same.

our offense is painful to watch. booker looked better than bennett though?

To Chan,
Thanks for some great memories. The 2 wins over Auburn, the win last year over Virginia Tech, the wins over Clemson.
I could recite the failures of the last 6 years, but they'll be plenty of people doing that in the weeks to come. While many of your supporters will say you got a raw deal being fired after all you accomplished, you must admit you had plenty of opportunities that were not taken advantage of properly.
So, after 6 years together, this is the end. Goodbye, Chan. I sincerely wish you luck as an OC in the NFL somewhere, that seems to be your niche.

If we had gotten stomped 51-7 again I'm sure he would be gone. That game was so weird, it's 50/50 I think.

This about sums up my feeling about Chan. Maybe if he stayed at Troy State after his NC there and worked his way up the college ranks, he could have been a great college coach. But he had too many deficits coming from being an average to above average NFL coaching. Not putting enough effort in recruiting and not getting the players up to play hard and execute every game.

I'm guessing he'll go for an OC job without all the non-football crap he has to do now and maybe get to be Miami's HC after they inevitably fire Cameron. Good luck to him.

Two ways Chan goes:

1. DRad has someone better in the works already and gets a deal (Jimbo Fisher).

2. Chan leaves for the NFL to take an OC position.

If either of these things are/will not be the case, he will continue to troll the sidelines on The Flats.

Given his woeful offensive game plans/play calling, why would any NFL team want Chan as an OC? Am I missing something here?

He probably calls pretty good plays on Sunday. Conservative play goes a long way.

College ball needs a risk taker.

If Chan goes and looks for an OC job in the NFL, I know a pro team that could use a half-decent play caller.

If Gailey were available tomorrow, who would hire him?

I am sure some mid-major would hire him, but outside of Duke or Baylor what BCS school would hire him?

My guess is none. So everytime someone asks if we could get someone better remind them that pretty much every BCS school seems to think they can. So why not us?

Like Furman Bisher said a couple days ago, Tech and the Falcons should trade Gailey for Petrino.
