Nothing short of back to back playoff appearances and Hieisman Trophy nominations will earn trust post multiple three win seasons.Based on this board, he’s lost the fan base. Once you do that, it’s very difficult to gain it back. Only winning will do it. There’s nothing he can say. Just needs to stack wins.

I think we got the proper amount of wins commensurate with the combination of talent on the field and coaching paid for relative to our competitors. I would say at this point in the transition it’s 30% on DRad, 60% on TStan, and 10% on Collins.
What rank was the 2-deep?We had a roster ranked 5th in the ACC...
I agree with #2 & 4, but you're off base on the other two. While the inability was apparent the entire time, if one chose to look critically, most on this board didn't believe it until the Pitt game and beyond. Go back and look at the preseason predictions and the approval polls. There were very few of us selecting 3 or 4 wins and the approval didn't tank until about game 6. After the Clemson and UNC games (despite the NIU game), it appeared to many on this board the corner had been turned. Here's what I see, which I think is why he has lost the board:
1) Stick with the same staff for 3 whole years despite lack of success. At the end of year 3 it becomes apparent they can't hack it at all.
2) Continue to attribute none of the failure in years 1 and 2 to their inability. Claim you were making progress until the last two games.
3) When fans point out that their inability has been obvious the entire time, and the last two games went just about as bad as expected by anyone who wasn't delusional, throw it back in their faces publicly.
4) Continue to display unswerving self confidence while your best players abandon you.

I agree with this. TStan should have stepped in at the end of last year to play the bad cop. I blame most of this and the budget on him. Here's what I see, which I think is why he has lost the board:

Geoff and Todd have no ability to evaluate themselves, their methods, their staff, and even their own players. It shows on the field and in the story of their tenure. It isn't going to get any better and we are not going to "stack" one single win on top of any other next year or any year after that as long as they are here.
If this board is anywhere close to indicative of the fan base as a whole, what needs to be done is obvious. I believe this board is indicative of the fan base that cares. The rest have already given up.Here's what I see, which I think is why he has lost the board:

Not to mention we have to ride the GT train. It’s where we got our degree. So we might as well be optimistic. I spent the majority of this season intentionally lying to myself that this was going to work. My posts look like I’m schizophrenic. But the truth is, deep down, I haven’t like GC from the get go. He had little head coaching experience. He took a Temple team and made it worse. They weren’t explosive or exciting on either side of the ball. The only sliver of hope I had in him was that he could recruit players to cover his ineptitude. He sucks. TStan sucks for hiring him. TStan sucks for keeping him.Hence the caveat about delusional. I think if you chose to look critically you'd find that a majority of sports fans are delusional when it comes to their team and expectations - and this is not always a bad thing, it helps create a fun and exciting culture and serves to justify the increasingly large expenditures that athletic departments need in order to run these days.
We're among the most passionate fans in the sport here on the board, as evidenced by the fact that we haven't just given up. We hold on to hope well past the point of reason. There were, however, very reasonable voices among us the whole time, and we really didn't want to hear them. Many still don't.
