Alright ladies. It's almost time for our second tailgate. Flunkout will be our gracious host like last time. RV lot on Marietta Street across from Salvation Army. Gates open at 8.30am. I have to pay him with breakfast to make sure y'all can have a tailgate so try to make an appearance. Go Jackets and THWG!

I want to give special thanks to our admin Cyptomcat who's one the most integral parts to our tailgate operations. He's always one of the first ones there and helps set up camp and brings beer and pizza. Hopefully he and I can pull off a stingtalk tailgate in South Bend after this if the stars align. We'll see you there on Saturday.

What time y'all setting up? and are you allowed to park on the street right there by it on Tech Pkwy? ( just temporarily, not during game)

We're setting up at 8.30am.

I'm pretty sure those spots are GT Parking pass. Unless someone else can tell you otherwise. I know there's a different rule for the weekends for certain lots but I don't know what it is for gameday.

I usually park on Howell Mill all the way by that gas station across from Cookout and walk to our tailgating spot.

If yoyre only going for a little while, park at Engineer's Bookstore. Go inside and buy one of these rad throwback 1990 National Champs license plates for $1.

Then walk across the street to the tailgate.

Sounds like a great plan! I have a SC parking pass but I will be going to pick up my son at his apartment before the game and don't know if I can get back in if I park there first.

You'll get charged, $20 I think, if you park on Tech Parkway (they have roving parking attendants). There is also a lot across Marietta from the RV lot that's $20. You can also park in the HR building next to the RV lot, which is $23 in advance or $25 on gameday if there is availability.

We'll be there Friday afternoon through post-game.

GTMom would be proud of you.

Yes, I would! I don't have a problem walking but time may not allow it. Not gonna pay $20 bucks to go to the tailgate though when I already paid for season parking pass and it was $190!!!
