The way we played yesterday, no. The way we played against scUM and UGAy, most definitely.

We probably wouldn't have played so vanilla if we were up against tOUS, though, don't you think?

The one element of that game that took Navy to the brink was the passing game. Navy was "held" to 186 yards on the ground, but Dobbs made some absolutely beautiful passes and it was a well coached game. Niumatalolo saved some great plays for when he needed them and just managed his team well.

I think if Nesbitt was able to settle down and make those kind of throws we beat Ohio State. I think he has it in him...I really do. I see good motion, good decision making, and good timing. He's just barely missing on some of his throws. Can't wait for the game that it clicks!

I think Ohio State would have practiced more extensively had they been playing us. Navy did great, no doubt, but Ohio State has USC coming in to town on Saturday so Navy probably didn't hold their interest much until it was almost too late. That's not to say we couldn't beat them though. They rarely win the important games (except against Michigan).
