Stoops cannot coach well at all in bowl games. Hence the nickname Choke-lahoma. Last night was a perfect example of Stoops' horrible play calling. The guy has such incredible talent to work with but just craps it away with horrible play calling.

I don't know if I entirely agree with your assessment. Oklahoma marched down the field numerous times only to have a stout defense stop them on the 2/3 line and have an immaculate interception. Oklahoma was playing pretty good offensively only to not put the ball in the end zone. And one of the other INTs by UF was not due to a poor throw but to a great play by the defender (WR had the ball and safety just ripped it out of his hands).

I enjoyed the game for the sole reason that I have felt that the Big 12 is slightly overrated in that none of the good teams play defense. For a team that averaged over 50 points a game to be held to only 14 is all the evidence I need.

I love seeing Bob Stoops get exposed for taking advantage of an overrated conference to go to like 3 or 4 MNC games in the past 8 years (and when they don't make it to the MNC, they go to one of the other 4 good BCS bowl games).

It's true what the UF player said before the game: Offense sells tickets, defense wins championships.

The OU offense decombobulated inside the 10 yard line. They looked like a flag football over 30 bunch waiting on someone to call a play. They call two timeouts and come out and resemble a chinese fire drill. Stoops lost all credibility with me last night. I could go on and on.

I thought he focused too much on establishing the run in the first half. He seemed like he expected to hang 50 on UF and was just screwing around. Should have just stuck with the air raid.
