Ole Miss series still on?

CPJ metioned on his coach's show a few weeks back that Ole Miss had called and inquired about pushing back or canceling the home-and-home scheduled for 2010-11. Anybody heard any more about this?
 
Last I heard they just want to push it back a few more years. I don't think there's anything official yet.
 
I would like to visit the grove, but I don't really care about playing their team. They suck and are a nobody. I'd rather schedule a series against UT or UF.
 
I believe they called the day after we beat the dogsnot out of Mississippi State. Hehe.

I hope not. I really want to visit the grove and this has absolutely nothing to do with their very, very talented student body and alumni.

Friend of mine (USCeast fan) just got back from his road trip with his group -- think his jaw is still dropped open and drool is still coming out. Been to many campuses on gamedays, and the grove is one of the best for window shopping.
 
I've been to the Grove 6-8 times for gameday(my ex gf went to ole miss...holla).

I was REALLY looking forward to flying a GT flag right in the middle of it.
 
I think the last time we played was in the '71 Peach Bowl (IIRC @ Grant Field. could of been Atlanta Stadium but it was in a bad rain. THE MUD BOWL!) They beat us by 30 pts. Time for a little payback AND I want to go to the Grove before I'm 60. :fingersx:

Like until Houston Nutt's outta Oxford? That's what I figured. He loved to load up on patsies at Arkansas - they had to drag him kicking and screaming to play home and home with Texas and USC while he was up there.
 
Alabama and Ole Miss have some of the best looking women inbreeding can give you...

I was there and it was at the Atlanta Stadium, and boy did it rain ! ! To this day it is still the worst football game I have ever attended--weather wise.
 
Oxford is a great town, The Grove is a great experience, very unlike the rest of the state in that respect.
 
I would not mind going if I am in the states at the time. So what if most of the seniors are already 5 years younger than me?
