Nice analysis. Agreed with his points, and I forgot about Ole Miss playing Bama next week.
What makes me positive:
Tulane showed how to exploit their weaknesses ... until the 4th quarter
Ole Miss has some noteworthy injuries
Haynes
Birr seems like a better PK ... so far
What makes me negative:
Ole Miss has superior talent
Lane Kiffin is a smart offensive mind and will make 2nd half adjustments if necessary (see Tulane)
Our defense has been hit or miss this season
We're playing at night at Ole Miss, which will be a hostile environment
I think it's 43-34 Ole Miss. I don't think they win by 20. I think we see a similar game to Louisville where we stun Ole Miss and catch them looking at Bama in the first half, but Kiffin adjusts and their superior talent is too much for us to hold on in the second half ... hope I'm wrong and we win this one.
1. Stop The Run
2. Pressure Dart
3. Attack a shaky secondary
4. King Will Need to Run
5. Hope they're looking ahead to Alabama
Big question is can D can take care of 1 & 2. I like that we're playing them at night. We're coming in with something to prove, and I think the crowd noise will energize us as much as it does them, maybe more.
