Just out of curiosity, what would folks think of bringing back GO'L? Not that I think he would be the best candidate or choice available, but how far down the list is he? He has done a good job, overall at UCF, had a down year last year. And then they're that whole thing that went down with ND six years ago...

Inconceivable.

His buyout at Central Florida is over 5 million, and we'd have to pay it, because he sure as hell isn't, and we aren't going to pay it because he technically shirked on paying his own buyout after the ND fiasco, not to mention we don't have the money to do so while buying out Gailey.
 
Just like Muschamp...this is a BIG risk (dividing the fanbase).

We can't have the base divided any longer. Its been killing us or at least the message boards.
 
Okay, basically the response I thought. As posted previously, he does owe us two years, maybe we could get those free!
 
If we could call in 2 free years of O'Leary, but hand pick his assistants and remove his major coaching duties, I might actually like that idea.
 
GOL did his time here at GT, you have a better chance of winning the lottery. There is NO chance

bu he did beat UGA 3 straight for the 1st time since Dodd so he was ok in my book!

Plus...a friend of mine talked to him two weeks ago and Coach O said that it was "ridiculous how Chan is being treated up there...they don't understand the difficulty of that job."
 
I like the idea of him coaching here again... just dont think it would ever happen.
 
The man brought more shame to our great institution than anyone ever has. I cannot understand why his name is even on these message boards.

Also if you read the posts by former players he was the reason for the terrible defenses not TR.

Move on to someone with honesty and integrity.
