From Jeff Shultz' AJC article:

The first five Georgia possessions went interception-punt-fumble-interception-interception. Three of those turnovers led to touchdowns.
The strangest thing about all of this? Georgia players would have you believe it wasn’t that bad.
“The game was closer than what the scoreboard said,” Moreno said.
“The score didn’t at all reflect how the game was played,” Mohamed Massaquoi said.
“I thought we were better team this game — just a few turnovers held us back,” Curran said.
The better team?
“Definitely.”

If you take away the offense, defense, special teams and coaching, they had the better team...

"I think to look at the game as a whole is an injustice to how dominant this Georgia team is. Florida clearly struggled out there to make it to the 50 point mark and I think that sort of effort will be the cornerstone for the rest of the season as we continue in the hunt for what has been our one true goal all along: to be Champions of the Dawg Nation. That's the only national title we ever truly cared about."

What's sad is that I could get away with attributing that to a real quote from Mark Richt.

Some one tried the "look at the total yards, it was a really close game" on a friend of mine who deftly responded with "yeah, but you don't get many yards when you start drives inside the other team's 10 yard line"

Just remember, it took a lot of Heart to finally get that touchdown in the 4th Q. Heart, that's what that teams all about. Their never give up attitude.

...and there are the dillusional dawg fans:

You must not have watched the same game i did. Our defense held their own and so did our offense. the huge difference makers were the offensive pass interference that wasnt called when allen almost had his jersey ripped off and then the defensive pass interference when green was held to put the defender in the position to get the int. take those two away from florida and the game is different.

:laugher:

This is my favorite part. It was pretty outrageous when Leinart said it after losing to VY and Texas in the Rose Bowl, but at least he only lost by one score. It's tough to say you're the better team when you lose 49-10.

Overheard after the Florida game:

"If you take our second half against Alabama and move it to against Florida then take our first half against Florida and move it to against Alabama then we... *sob*... win both of them! Right? Uhhhh... OK.. wait... lemme think..."

Here, let me help: NO :laugher:

We just don't understand what it's like to lose to a team from Florida for a decade and a half.

Oh wait..

A delusional doggie fan in Cracker Barrel this morning:
"...we had the game." :laugher:
