...I'm preparing to tie the knot tomorrow, so I'll leave all the ugly debate to you guys.

But before I leave, I leave one final thought on our current situation. By no means am I calling for anyone's head, but I think it's clear that our current staff has really stunk so far.

For those speaking of "first years'" and "transitions", I leave this thought.

The 1995 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets would take our 2002 squad to the woodshed. Just my honest opinion.

Coaches either get the most out of their available talent or they don't. This talk of transitions and first year's is silly.

Hopefully we can turn things around.

Go Jackets!

I think you're ignoring a very large point. We have had crucial injuries. Last night was just another example with Fox going down. Our weak spot before the season was probably the DL. Then, our best DE became sick with a kidney disease. He was a team leader for our D and he's gone for the year. We had a great running back this year. The staff figured it out by the BYU game and then he's injured and gone for the year. TH was about to become the centerpeice of our offense, but now he's gone for the year as well.

Lots of other guys have been hurt too. Fox goes down and then MD runs the ball down our throat. I think the crush of all the injuries has also affected the mentality of this team. They just seemed to go through the motions last night in the 2nd half.

FWIW, we have had alot of coaching screwups this year. The playcalling has been suspect and we've had breakdowns from the HC all the way to our special teams coaches. No one is happy with the coaching so far. But it's too early to pull the plug on CG. We should support him until it becomes apparent that he won't move the program forward. 7 games is not enough time to judge a head coach.
