As it was, the ball was floated in there not perfectly, but imminently catch-able. It's a play that Calvin makes 99 times out of 100. But that's the breaks. Sometimes it's just not meant to be. The better team lost last night and that's hard to take. We really took it to them in the 2nd half. NC State's offense had 1 play in the 2nd half and that was it for them. But it was enough to beat us, given our special teams and our breakdown at the end. This loss hurts way worse than 51-7 or 51-7 part deux. It kills me. But I don't blame it on anyone. I'm not pointing fingers. It just wasn't our night.
