I agree. I hope there has not been ‘too’ much of an effort to distance ourselves from the players of the last 11 years.

That being said I don’t think so. We have heard from Sean Bedford this season as to his options on the team.
 
Paul Johnson looked pained when Dabo wanted to talk to him at midfield. It was like, “Do I really have to listen to this clown?” I miss CPJ’s exacerbation. Hard to believe how well Dabo has done since 2011.

I thought I read WTTE that CPJ was the first ACC HC to befriend Dabo when Dabo first got the HC job. The article, IIRC, seemed to say other HC’s were dismissive of him.

I believe we played against Dabo in his first game as a head coach, and we won! The good relationship may have started that day prior to kickoff.

You are correct on both counts. Dabo was one of the few ACC coaches CPJ really got along with.
