That's true. We were within 7 or 8 points of winning 6 of those losses, including UGA. It could've been a very different year...

I was at this game. I've been to many games but on that particular game. I remember standing there a good 20 minutes after wondering if I just saw what I saw.

Most injuries I’ve ever seen in a single season. ACC officials with the targeting call on Gostis cost them the UNC game. And once he went out injured, the D took a step back.

Great memory from a tough season.
 
Ah, my feet haven’t felt the same since my 34-year-old body ran down the stairs in the lower west and hurdled the wall onto the field without hesitationq.

Its a much bigger jump than I remember the North stands during ‘99-‘03 as a student.

Indeed it was. I remember seeing a bunch of crutches hoisted in their air on the sidelines. Wish we could take back that season.

Maybe that's why we were 5.5 point dogs to a #9 team, those close losses. It was never close with GC, we were getting blown out like a Mythbusters episode.

I was certain a flag was gonna get thrown for something.

Don't forget, Blewitt from Pitt beat us on a FG from nearly the exact same spot on the prior home game. I was going "please God, not again. Not like this"

Yeah, the kick block was more or less in front of our seats. The absolute bedlam in the stands after we scored was great. I miss having decent crowds for games. We were the talk of the town on Sunday.

3 years in a row it was like that. "This year we will beat Pitt..."

Actually, I'm more inclined to repeat those 3 years than the last 3.

That crowd was insanely loud, it was great. My seats were right near where Austin scored. That pileup was awesome too. I wonder how long it took Austin to come down from that high?
