Isn't their starting QB Zach Gibson, who rode the bench for us? My main concern is coming down from that high and taking care of business. Folks on the Sun Belt board thinks GSU will have a rough season. I expect GT to cover the spread.

I hope our team treats this game like a Tom Brady led Patriots team is coming to town.

I have experience being in the crowd for Furman, Citadel, MTSU, and Bowling Green.....

And almost Georgia Southern ....

And almost Gardner Webb......

This is where I am as well.

For the first time since CPJ, I have faith in the O to get things done. D shows promise under Santucci.

It *does* seem like the team has bought into CBK’s attitude of the last play not mattering whether good or bad. All that matters is the next one. If that can translate to a week-to-week attitude relative to games, I have to beleive this team will be ready Sat night.

Still living in Clown's world when he did that. Key corrected him and he played much better down the stretch. His mobility might be concerning, but our defense no longer looks like they are playing with concrete shoes on. We have flipped that.

I just don't want to take any team lightly.

I was as down as anyone with Gibson after the throwaway game. He redeemed himself with the UNC win and giving a gutsy effort against the dwags after Sims gave up on the team. Impressive recovery from a really bad situation imho.

Pretty much where I'm at. Per GSU's board, they believe they have a legit chance of winning due to GT's perceived overconfidence after winning that game. Key knows what Gibson is capable of and will plan accordingly. He acted like a dude who checked the box off his list of things to do after beating FSU. I'd be seriously, seriously disappointed if we didn't come to play once the game clock starts.
 
If anything Gibson playing for Ga St will make our players take this game serious. That and knowing they’ll never hear the end of it if they get beat up by their little brother.
