"We are still learning about the matter, but obviously Robert's wellbeing is our greatest concern."

Channel 2 Action News will update you when more information becomes available

University of Ole Miss? Good job Channel 2. Stay classy Atlanta.

Nor I GTM. Please quit making excuses and alibis for dumbass behavior...it's what's wrong with our younger generation.

Good Lord people, give this kid a break. I'm guessing this was purely accidental with no harm intended. I'm hoping he can get some compensation for the way the media is crucifying him.

It will be interesting to see how he addresses the issue at the combine interviews ... :squint:

What? You just haven't been drunk enough.

I know, right. Just sounds like any random Tuesday bak in my day ...

Yeah, I'm sure nothing untoward happened to cause a grown a** man of that size to end up falling from a 4th floor window. Boys will be boys, amirite? (again)

"Give him a break"? Yeah, and I'm sure his brother mysteriously ending up in the ICU for a few days before anybody knew about it was 'purely accidental' too.

Seems to be about 15 feet.

All I'm saying we don't know all the facts. He made good grades and his mother is some kind of ambassador, which probably means he is a good kid. I'm guessing accident and the marijuana smoke was happenstance since most apartments have that odor from time to time

Nah, man. Take another look at the story.

Police responding to an incident Saturday night at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta say Nkemdiche broke a fourth-floor window, climbed over a wall and fell "approximately 15 feet." Officer Kim Jones, a police spokeswoman, said the junior was conscious when officers reported to the scene

Tweren't no accident. And whatever his mom is/does is totally irrelevant to the type of person he is.

Secondly, we all know of many kids who are stars in HS who end up with great grades so I'm not ready to cite that as any kind of supporting evidence either.

Lastly, I travel for work so I stay in a lot of nice hotels (that get paid for by the client so I'm not bragging) which I assume the Grand Hyatt is. They don't typically smell like marijuana or have any ambiguous odor.

Sound more like (a) they had something in the room (weed or whatever) and he tried to run once he realized the cops were coming or (b) he got ahold of some bad stuff and freaked out.

I do agree though that we don't have all the facts. However, the facts that we do have don't paint the picture of a good, wholesome kid who had an accident.
