It broke our back. It didn't cause us to lose, but it contributed.
Terrible play calling again, and again.
Throwing long, low per centage passes on first down over and over again, when we have neither the QB or the receivers to make it work. Having our little used back up quarterback throw 35 yards into the #7 team in the nation's coverage--surprise! it gets intercepted, so trot our exhausted defense out again. The team played hard. We competed. We had chances. Choice IMHO was not utilized properly, play calling was a problem, but TB was horrible---but not unlike what we all know him to be, which is poor. We are not that much worse than UGA--but they are better. I think UGA played a poor game today, and could have been beaten. IF, if, if......Burnett controls the ball that got kicked thru the end zone (sigh).
Our crowd was poor. No noise. No fervor. We have the team that Georgia Tech and Georgia Tech fans want. We are going bowling, we played hard. We are just not as good as most of the teams on our schedule. By definition, our bowl opponent will be a pretty good team--like us :laugher: "a bowl team." We will get our gonads handed to us wherever we end up. The team I saw at the end of the game is fed up with football right now. Done. Defeated.

Can you blame them? The WRs drop balls. The QB barely gets the ball to the WRs (who, dont forget, drop alot of the ones that get to them). The running game is good. Cant do it every down. The D played as spectacular as one could expect given the amount of time they were on the field. IMO, there are 8/22 that cause alot of problems, and for you stats people....thats about 35%.

1st - bomb, potential interception
2nd - short run

Brings up 3rd and 6 or more every time. You think they would figure that out after a while.

But what the hell, Im a college kid, he has pro experience, he knows a lot more than I do.
