Playing with the numbers as of the 8th bowl game:

Total points scored in 8 games = 510
Winning team points scored = 294
Losing team points scored = 216
Total points scored in 8 games = 510
Win by largest margin-New Mexico over Nevada by 23
Closest game so far-BYU over UCLA by 1
Highest scoring game = Motor City bowl with 99 pts.
Lowest scoring game = New Mexico bowl with 23 pts.

It's amazing how a person who gets a few days off manages to spend his time, don't you think?

If the scoring keeps up the way it has, we'll start to hear horse racing announcers on the radio/tv for these games.
BYU over UCLA by a HAIR
New Mexico over Nevada by 10 lengths.
Ga Tech over Fresno by a frisbee.

I am in a pool where part of the game is to predict the total margin of victory of all 32 games. My quick math tells me thru 8 games that number is 76. With 24 to go, I am in pretty good shape as long as the average victory margin goes up by 2 points a game. :ugh:
 
Well the West Coast plays zero defense so the scores soar while they're playing. But it could also be a sign that the spread offense is often unstoppable when executing well at the end of the season.

Or that many of the teams that go to ****ty bowls are mailing it in.
 
It seems like ref-messups are piling up along with points. The refs were doing better doing the regular season, I can tell that they didn't see their rule books for a month.

As Of 12:45 PM today, just before the muffler bowl and as of the 11th bowl game.

Total points scored: 623
Winners scored: 359
Losers scored: 264
Margins: Unchanged
ACC at present is hanging on the middle teat, 1 & 1.
Wake Forrest will determine if the ACC moves to the fore or to the hind end.
As luck would have it, the kid I was pushing for to get someone at GT to look at from Darlington School will be playing in the Armed Forces bowl right when we are playing. I'll be wearing out one fairly new remote control.

RM-2, bout all I can tell you right now is the game should have been in Kentucky since it's gonna be a blue day for somebody. They have blue grass up there in potato land too.
If you're wanting to know the score before they play, I'll refer you to that smart aleck wife of mine that said 0 to 0.

Anyone else see the infamous george stare to the kicker after he missed the kick, I got a little chuckle. he's such an intimidator
