I say either a few guys on our team step it up...get in guys faces and rally the troops or we're screwed.

I say some very good things in the second half and I belive if we can continue them then we could win out...or at least only lose 1 more which would be a very nice season.

OR

Our players can say our lives suck...we're so unlucky... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crybaby.gif...and absolutely tank it maybe only winning 1 or 2 more games. It's feast or fammon with this team.

actually there\'s option 3

We beat 1 more team we shouldn't and lose 1 more we shouldn't and have our typical 6-5 record under Gailey. Not bad enough to fire him. Not good enough to stop playing games on Thursday.

Re: actually there\'s option 3

I purposely left that one out...the numbers 6 & 5 arranged with a dash in the middle such as this, 6-5, make me vomit, such as this, /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puke.gif.

Re: actually there\'s option 3

6-5 is definitely enough to get rid of Gailey, in your 4th year, with all your talent, your staff, your system, if you're still barely breaking the .500 mark, everyone needs to cut their loses and move on.

Re: actually there\'s option 3

I think we should give him one more so that he and Ball can move on together...It just seems fitting, don't you think?

Huh huh, you said Chan Gailey and move the Ball in the same sentence.

Re: actually there\'s option 3

I honestly don't see the problem with Ball. He's been underdeveloped, thats for sure, but the guy is one hell of a competitor and makes amazing plays when the right plays are called for him. I see the biggest problem is that Gailey just doesn't seem to adjust to the personel we have. He was absolutely NAILING passes on the field side of the flats yesterday, and a couple across the middle. I know we always say he's too short to do it, but he nails them when he gets a chance.

Re: actually there\'s option 3

watch the film from the VT game and tell me how many times Vick stays in the pocket or hands off to his RB vs running it on his own. Then you will see that the true value of speed in a QB is that he not actully use the speed all the time..it is the threat of speed that keeps the defenses honest and the RB's runnig WR's catching..
