I loved it. Much better than the Saliva song they have been playing all year. I heard the first few strums of Slash's guitar and got pumped immediately.

I wasn't there to see it, but GnR is one of the best rock bands ever and Saliva is crap. So it sounds like an upgrade.

we should come out to Welcome to Atlanta 'where the playaz play' by Jermaine Dupri and Ludacris. just my opinion

I really liked it too. It seemed to get the crowd more riled up than that previous opening with the start of Hell's Bells. With enough crazy fans, it could rival VT's Enter Sandman. Yes, I know I'm dreaming.

We should come out to something that will make our QB throw less then 4 interceptions. We should also come out to something that will allow us to run our first play, after a bye week, without having to burn a timeout. Something like Blue Collar Man by Styx.

I think we should have big boi's music playing since so many on this board said he's the greatest ever...(even though most had never heard of him or seen boy spelled boi beforehand).. :laugher:

I'm kind of partial to Guerrilla Radio by Rage Against the Machine. I love the guitar solo into the part when he says:

"It has to start somewhere,
It has to start sometime,
What better place than here?,
What better time than now?

All Hell, Can't Stop Us Now!!!!"

Sounds like a good intro to me.

I too loved "Welcome to the Jungle," and it did seem to do a good job of getting our folks pumped. I hope we stick with it. Its probably a good idea to use a song people are somewhat familiar with...as opposed to Saliva, whoever the hell that is. Playing crap songs will not get people pumped up for a game (if you ever feel the need to test that theory out, then watch Daughtry kick off the next RLF telecast...it will suck the life right out of you).

I do agree that "Welcome to Atlanta" needs to be included in some way on gameday.

JTS, I agree about that song, I think it would be perfect. You should e-mail D-rad in the offseason when the e-mail won't get lost in a flood of complaints.

I may have my eras wrong, but Welcome to the Jungle has been our intro in the past. Bill Lewis' I believe.

Nugent's climatic guitar work in "Free For All" would be my pick.
