His dad was my offensive line coach in high school. I remember when he was a little kid at practice. I've gotten the impression that Tech didn't even make much of a run at him.

Maybe so. GT has a much smaller pond to fish in. They contact schools around the 10th grade to try and find kids who they thing are academic fits.

He might be a brilliant great kid. I was really just reacting to the video... Im not a huge fan of that type of stuff.

I think this whole thing was silly. Maybe it will appeal to some, IDK. End results are what matter.

But, curious, who do you propose "investigate" a private business? The NCAA? Police? IRS?

I think this thing reflects poorly on his parents.
 
That video was terrible. Still a good pickup for UGA. That kid can fly. Runs something like a 4.4 at that size. He's a freak.

I followed this guy a little throughout recruiting. He's an interesting case...if I'm not mistaken, he was a long time 5 star and #1 ranked at his position, but he got beat on a play during the under armor AA game or camp, got pissed, punched a wall and broke his hand/wrist. Then, a couple of weeks later he fell asleep at the wheel and wrecked and broke his other arm. He was in double casts for a few months and eventually got downgraded to 4 stars. He's an impressive player nonetheless.
