What is the main thing that YOU want to see CPJ change that was taking place in CCG's time at GT?
-Of course we all want to go to a BCS bowl to play for and win the nat. champ. That's a given.
-There was one thing that surprised me that CCG let go on during his time at GT. That was all of that mouthing off on the field that I later learned was called "smack talk".
-R. Ball was a master of it as we saw in the UGA game when he mouthed off at the UGA team and coaches. Didn't help any though, he still managed to get his butt handed to him. Reggie wasn't the only one with the gift of gab on our team, others achieved this level of speech also.
-Hopefully, CPJ just coming from a service academy will still hold discipline high on his list of priorities and will demand that GT's superiorities come from their actions on the field instead of their big mouths.
-OLD SCHOOL you say????, yessir and danged proud of it.
-Let's kick butt, not just talk about it.

A good start would bee to see the QBs actually have someone talk to them between series.

Third and SHORT.

That, and our opponents down by four touchdowns midway through the fourth quarter with our 2nd team offense running out the clock.

Maybe, score a touchdown now and then.

no more dreadlocks/ braids.....or everyone gets a buzzcut and they earn the right to wear their individual hairstyles with their play on the field

no more going into halftime with possession of the ball and timeouts without having attempted to score

My personal favorite was our defense jumping up and down after a hard hit on an opposing 7 yard completion ... it's amazing how those add up. The "smack talk" as you call it isn't going to stop no matter who the coach is. Players today just can't help themselves, we can be down 21 and make a random tackle and somebody will yell and berate the other team like he just went up 58. Maybe we can bring in MeAngelo Hall as a consultant, he has a knack for giving up 2-3 TD's and 30 yard gains, then finally tipping a ball away and acting like he just won Keno.

Being Consistently Prepared. My problem with Gailey is he lacked the personality to inspire student athletes to play week in and week out. Our teams always seemed grossly unprepared every other game.

Count myself among those who would like to see discipline restored. Not just among our players, but among America's youth in general. But that's just an old man's idle musings and I'll be the first one to concede that it just ain't going to happen.

When I see fine young football players decommit or transfer because of a coaching change, I can begin to understand the extent to which Georgia Tech academics and Georgia Tech athletics are mutually independent. Given that realization, I don't see how I should expect more in terms of appearance, loyalty and performance from Georgia Tech athletes than from athletes at any other college-associated team, or the pros either for that matter.

So I will just be satisfied by a good old fashioned UGA butt stomp'n.
