For once the pressure is on Duke.Sagarin has Duke as an 8-point favorite (most compared to a Collins-coached team), but it's at home, and hopefully the team and fans should be fired up to take the next step.
is it? I think both sides got pressure. For once the pressure is on Duke.
This is a must win for Key if he wants to keep the job.
We haven’t done that since late 2018. Amazing it has been that long and how numb you get to continued failures.
The schedule didn’t leave us much room for error with respect to bowl eligibility, but the road win at Pitt is encouraging. We need 4 more, with Duke being the real litmus test game. Win on Saturday, and our odds against UVA and VT look good. I think we have a good chance of picking up one more against UNC, Miami, or FSU. We may look back at UCF as the game that got away, but I’d put our odds of a bowl game now at 50/50. As far as winning the Coastal, we have the potential tie-breaker against Pitt, and the loss to Clemson factors into a Divisional tie as a non-Coastal game. I could easily see a 3 way tie of teams at 5-3 this year, but a loss to Duke would really be a blow to all this speculation.
I wasn’t a fan of jingling keys at the end of a home game win, but that may be a funny thing to do if we can beat Duke.We haven’t done that since late 2018. Amazing it has been that long and how numb you get to continued failures.
People still have keys?I wasn’t a fan of jingling keys at the end of a home game win, but that may be a funny thing to do if we can beat Duke.
