Our lone TD drive was aided by both Fudge and Hill being pulled from Clemson backfield simultaneously and replaced by freshmen. Seems like a bizarre move by the Clemson coaches at a critical juncture of the game, but I guess we will take it! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugher.gif

Clemson clung to a 6-3, fourth-quarter lead when the Yellow Jackets put together the day’s only touchdown drive. The possession coincided with defensive substitutions for Clemson.

True freshman Haydrian Lewis replaced Hill at cornerback. Redshirt freshman Chris Clemons was in for Jamaal Fudge at free safety.

Koenning said both players needed a rest. Hill had not gotten out all game.

“Tongue dragging I think would be a pretty good way of putting it,” Koenning said.
