compared to those at Auburn and Florida. Everyone knows the heat being applied to Ron Zook after that disaster Saturday night, but the Auburn faithful are probably MORE upset. I listened to some of the Paul Finebaum radio show today (which is SO biased toward Alabama and AU). For two solid hours folks were venting, calling for heads to roll, etc. Then Pat Dye comes on and without saying it, says that Tommy Tuberville is in a world of hurt. They were stomped by Arkansas over the weekend and of the remaining games on their schedule, they've got to play Florida, LSU, Ole Miss, Georgia, and Alabama. Doesn't sound too good if you ask me.
Folks, say what you want about our new head coach, but he's in MUCH better shape than Tuberville. This is TT's FOURTH year. Chan's still on his first and getting his feet wet back in the college game at a unique program. We'll see where CG is in HIS fourth year before we start acting like the Auburn faithful.
Sad to say, but it DOES give you some perspective on how bad things COULD be. I for one, DO NOT beelieve this will be the case at GT in CG's fourth year. You're more than welcome to throw this back in my face in four years if I'm wrong.
