They will drop Alabama from their schedule next year. But, Tennesse is making the big change to the Lane Kiffin era next year. It will be interesting to watch the response to that game next year if he beats Richt in his first outing. They also play OSU in Stillwater and have Arkansas coming to Athens.

That said, what is the over/under on losing records to UT, UF and GT before Richt gets canned?

They still have to play us. Heh, heh. :D

Richt already has a losing record against Florida (2-6); losing to the gators on a regular basis hasn't affected his job security.

Auburn is a bigger rival for the mutts than Tenn. If Richt had losing records against GT, Auburn, and Florida three years in a row, they'd fire him.

I was seriously rubbing salt into the wounds w/ my ugag acquaintances after the game last night. I asked them what they thought about richt now. I pointed out that they will rarely beat Urban and even if they do they still have to deal with Saban for the SEC. Then it looks like Paul Johnson isn't going to be too promising to beat either.
It was great watching them squirm as that sunk in.

Who do they have to replace Morendo/Stafford? Has their 2nd string QB seen any action at all this year?

Caleb King is the heir apparent for Moreno. He is talented.

Their #2 QB this year was Joe Cox, and he will be a senior next year so it would be unsurprising if he won the job. He has seen mop up duty in a few games.

The rest of their QB's have zero game experience, at least at QB.

How exactly are they dropping Alabama from their schedule next year? If it's like the ACC, those interdivisional schedules are set years in advance.

Sustained losses to Florida and Tech will get Richt the boot eventually. As the SEC and now Tech gets stronger with new coaches, it may put a lot of pressure on him than years before.

And those schedules dictated that the home and home series between uga and bama take place last year, and this year. Bama's off their schedule next year. "Dropped" didn't mean that uga had a choice in the matter.

I didn't include Auburn because I don't see much changing there in the next 2 years.

I think you guys underestimate the level of the TN rivalry. I live in Chatt. so I am surrounded by both. If UGay is 2/3 next year we will see massive assistant changes. 2 years of 2/3, especially if 1 is Tech and Richt is gone. MHO
