...or is it Nashville.

FWIW: This obviously means nothing at this point, but ESPN has posted their first Bowl Projections for the season.

Schlabach has slated GT in the inaugural Eagle Bank Bowl in D.C. against none other than Navy.

Feldman has GT in the Music City pitted against the 'Cocks.

I say BS; if not BCS bound you gotta believe GT might grab a slot in the CFA, Gator or Champs.

Both guys have Wake in the Orange.

Can't blame them for picking Wake. The Atlantic conference is a mess. The Coastal is a mess for that matter too. Too bad the refs jobbed UNC against VPISU.

It's not the 'first' bowl projections. It is done weekly, and you can choose any week from the top of the page.

True. Well, they were the first for me since I had not bothered to read them until now. ;)

GT65 -feeling down and a bit embarrassed that the older he gets, the less informed he seems to be on what is sometimes simple information and he posts something that probably 90% of ST'ers already knew.

Oh well, at least I got great seats for AC/DC in December!!!

Can't blame them for picking Wake because Skinner is probably one of the top 5 QBs in the nation.

On another thread we were discussing something to the effect of why the 'outside media' (or inside for that matter) thinks that if FSU and UM are down then the whole conference is down. Wake took a big step IMO by winning @FSU in bringing some notice to teams other than those two.

I have to admit that I still double-take when I see Wake at the top of the Atlantic, or on the winning side of a game @FSU, or being projected to represent the ACC in the BCS. They are now 23-7 going back to the start of the '06 season.

I've already bought my PEACH BOWL tickets. I'll sell them if we don't play in it.

I'm going to ANY east coast bowl this year. I'm going to forget for ONE WEEKEND that I am a college student on a limited budget.

Honestly, right now I'm feeling Gator Bowl bound, but we'll see. I think we're going to be locked out of the ACCCG and maybe get some media love about how we're the better team in the coastal but VT got us early, and then we'll have a trip to Jacksonville since Peach will pass us over.

This is actually their 5th bowl projection of the season. They do one every week plus preseason. Schlabach has not moved us since preseason. The other dude had us going from the Car bowl to the Gay Bowl.
