well I guess that means something. It could be that he is using some politics to get us ranked and then IF FSU beats us, it looks better for them. Just as a off-the-wall thought.

At least we finally get a little respect.

which is why I didn't completely rule out the thought. I hate FSU, there fans especially, "We're back, we're back, we're back!". They look like a bunch of retards trying to hump a doorknob.

Theres some truth to that of course, but Bowden I can't remember anything negative about GT from him back when we used to play yearly. We could never get the FSU monkey off our back, but we gave them more of a fight most years than they got from anyone else and he seemed to at least border on respecting us for that.

If you're looking for the ballots of the Coaches Poll you're out of luck: they only release the ballots for the last poll of the season. The AP Poll ballots can make for some interesting reading, though.
 
Bowden may still be a sly old fox, but he also knows that the more teams ranked (GT, UNC, Wake, etc.) other than the "traditional" powers (FSU, VT) the better for the conference as a whole.
 
I seriously doubt Bobby Bowden fills out the poll. Most of the games occur during his nap time, if he's not playing, that is.
