Haven't been to a game in a few years. The only parking available through Tech is $69. My son is coming down from North Georgia to meet me for the Colorado game. We won't have time to tailgate as he'll be pulling in not long before game time. Should we use Marta north of the stadium and walk down? Is it safe for a Thursday night game? Or is AT&T still the best off-campus parking? Help a guy out please.

Personally, I would pay the 70 dollars just to not deal with the headache of Marta. You just don’t know what you’ll get on a Marta train.

You could download the Park Mobile app. It will populate all the available lots on campus and nearby. Our oldest is a student there and that's what we use when we need to visitor park during the week. I don't know about rates or availability on a game day.

We've had season tix parking in student center parking deck for about 25 years. But i just got ours switched to outdoor lot behind the thriller dome.

I would just pay the parking. It is gonna be a late game. If it was a noom game, I'd say take MARTA.

If the Centergy deck (I guess it is still Centergy) has parking, that one has an easy exit to Williams Street and 75N

That's the deck I've used in the past. Couldn't remember the name.

Ok, so definitely not Marta (that was what I expected to hear - just wanted confirmation).

Thanks! I'll do that.

Not for that late. For a noom kick, you can mosey back to the North Avenue station and ride back. Taking MARTA at 11:30 PM would be a hassle. I've done it before, the UNC Nat Dorsey kicking Julius Peppers ass all game I took MARTA to.

The Centergy parking deck that's right beside the 10th St bridge where the StingTalk tailgate resides is usually $25 game day. The walk isn't onerous.

Now what about a walk would make a person horny?

The AT&T decks (one underground, one abovegroud) between 3rd and 4th streets on Spring St, have been $20.00 per game for at least the last 5 years. Don't use the underground on on 4th, because it takes forever to get out. The aboveground deck has an entrance on 4th street and an entrance of 3rd street, and both are easy in / easy out. Assuming they have it open, it is an easy walk through the tunnel to the campus and the stadium. I HIGHLY recommend it, and it is never full.

Yes but it's not beside the StingTalk tailgate and is thus ghey.

My dad told me about a homless black woman who had a ukalele and said to look at this picture of my family. It was a White Family cut out of a sears catalog.

I want parking there bad just so I can swing straight on 85/75 south to get to 20

Wow, glad I jumped on Colorado parking early (official GT parking through Park Mobile). Despite my lot going up to $30, it’s sold out - first time I’ve seen that in the 5+ years I’ve been parking there!

So wait, it’s also showing as sold out for Tennessee AND Mercer. Something seems fishy about that, especially the Mercer game…

I have parked in W 23 the last 2 years and the first day parking was listed all 5 lots were 30.00. I moved over to the SC for Colorado and the same lot is now 68.00, Tennessee is 86.00, Mercer is 52.00. Wish I had purchased all the games the first day.
