Crazy game, for sure. Place went bonkers after that kick finally sailed through sound endzone uprights. The fight after the game at Bobb Dodd Way & Techwood also epic.

I was there. Went on the field after the game and grabbed a fistfull of turf from the site where Jasper changed the course of history. Still have it.

Four or five (drunk) mutt fans running their mouths along with many Tech fans. Pushing led to fists and what looked like midget tossing right in the middle of the intersection. It escalated north up Techwood until about a dozen GTPD showed up. Took about 10 mins to get everyone separated and calmed down. Lots of mullet hair, ball caps and f-bombs flying.
All cleared up by the time the goal posts were carried down Techwood.
