I woudl certainly bet he didnt make those statements for the benefit of Alabama... but I dont think it will matter... Bama has a good defense... they should win the game... but, as they say... that's why they play the games... you never know...

NO DOUBT this is a thinly veiled media stunt for an ex-Dawg player who coached at Auburn to fire up the good ole boys against evil Bama. So transparent I can't believe the AJC takes it seriously... unless they're in on it.

hearing Pat Dye say that UGA isn't "man enough" to compete with Ala makes me laugh. it's no surprise this guy never won a nat'l title despite having loads of talent.

lest we forget, Pat Dye, being the coward that he is, decided to kick a field goal to end the 1988 sugar bowl in a tie despite having the ball at syracuse's 13 yard line and despite that Lawyer Tillman had 6 catches for 125 yards that day. A real man would have gone for the win and tossed it to Lawyer in the end zone.
