Patrick Nix leaving his mark

They're going to hate his playcalling even worse once they finally establish the obvious run in a game and he throws it out the window to "take chances downfield."

Nix is the one main thing holding Miami back right now. With someone better calling plays they have a legitimate shot at beating UF.

I never understood the hiring of Nix at GT to begin with. Of course I never understood the hiring of his former boss at GT either.

The greatest thing Nix ever did for us was out-playcalling Randy Shannon at BDS two years ago.

Randy Shannon was the DC two years ago...

therefor, Shannon was going head to head with Nix (while Nix was OC at Tech), and the poster says that Shannon got out-called by Nix

think before you post, kettle

Could be construed either way...

and the world could end tomorrow, but context dictates that it wont

you are an arguing dumbass with no class, get off your schtick already

I think that's the main reason Shannon hired Nix. Nix did call a great game in that GT-UM game in '06. It seems to me Shannon (UM's DC) was very impressed by this, thus the Nix hire. Nix really did well with playcalling all year in '06 until the last 3 games (don't know how much of that was Reggie). But, Nix killed himself here by costing us the game against Ugag and ACCCG by not being "conservative" enough - going away from an effective running game to sling it on a fade like 15 times.

You are obsessed with me. :laugher: Get a life.

man, you are a true jokster, you are the one that spends all your time on here. i am not obsessed with StingTalk (as you are) nor am i obsessed with you in the least.

i am kind of tired of you making my experience on this board worse than it was before you were here, and i chose to point out that you are a reactionary idiot that cant take his own medicine.

btw, can i expect to see you at the next home game, or will you be posting about your fist from your 'off-campus' apartment???

Kyle: most posts with the least info on the web!

Exactly.

That was even mentioned by Shannon in the media, after the hire.

That's what I'm saying.
