Hey Guys,
I haven’t posted in quite a while. Hope everything is well. I am not sure what the common consensus is, but I am pretty ecstatic about the hiring of Coach Paul Johnson…even though I do believe that we overpaid a little. However, that may prevent other teams from coming in and stealing him if…when… he has success at Georgia Tech.
Now, for those who know me, you know that I can’t help but talk recruiting. Do we know if Paul will be coaching the Navy bowl game or is he coming now? We are going to need some serious damage control between now and national signing day.
I do not think that we will not see that flex bone, triple option at Tech. However, we will most likely see some kind of spread option. I would expect some kind of Friedgen style offense with some option and down the field passing attacks.
That all being said, I think that we should seriously consider a strong, last minute push for Jaybo Shaw. I already thought this kid had potential to be a good QB, but with Johnson at the helm, I think that Jaybo could excel at Tech. Any of you that have seen him play know what I am talking about.
