Everyone deflects it toward Roof. The reality is most of the position coaches are not good.

Maybe because Pelton, at the very least, does not teach our linemen to come off the ball and fall to the ground.

I miss having a Greg Gathers, Eric Henderson, Anthony Hargrove, Gerris Wilkinson, Michael Johnson, Vance Walker, Derrick Morgan, or Adam Gotsis. That last two years at DL have been absolutely brutal. Gotsis is the only one under CPJ’s watch that has been a real player for us.

Don't forget that he was moved to DE his senior year during Ted's first year back as DC. That season at DE he had 12.5 sacks, which was tied for fourth most in school history.

I'm not impressed with several of our assistant coaches. I don't want to see anyone fired, but it wouldn't bother me if Sewak, Preston, Pelton and Speed moved on. I would hope to keep Owens, West, McCollum and Candeto on board. The jury is still out on Candeto so he gets a pass this year. West gets a break since he has only been here two years. Sisk (S&C coach) impressed me his first year, not so much now.
