I'd like to know what it says as well. Believe that to be big news Pena is going to enroll early. Had been discussed for some time, but if it's a done deal he is, then AWESOME.

If he enrolls early, can GT count that towards last years' total? I know that we saved a ship or 2 (PJ Daniels should get one). If we can count Pena for last year, then we obviously have another 'ship free for this year's class.

My understanding is that it WOULD count towards last year scholarships

the other reason would be to get the spring so he could compete for starting job

Pena confirms he will start GT on Jan 5th. That means he will go thru Spring training. He will count towards last yr, which means we could now sign at least 26 in Feb. We still have openings that could count toward last yr (Kuale,Holiday,Poree) so our total could edge up if 1 or 2 more could come in early.
