Sweet! What a class.

AWESOME!!! Josh and Claytor were the two recuits that I wanted most!

I remember seeing Nesbit in the high school playoffs (semis at the GA Dome on PBS) last year and thinking he was OUTSTANDING!

I also remember thinking he was UGAy bound. And I remember thinking how I wish Tech could get someone like that. Why did those scumbags in Arthens have to get all the guys like JN and we lose by 4 points every year? If only we could get a guy like JN we could be handing UGAy their lunch!

YES!!!!!!

I am going to have a blast watching all our recruits play in the playoffs this year. I just may have to go down to the Dome to watch some of those games to see Nesbitt, Claytor, Dwyer, R. Jones, Walls, etc... dominate!

I suppose we recruited him as QB...He deff has the HS stats to support his experience at QB (but he isn't all that tall especially considering Threet who is 6'6)...and we all know that height has been big issue w/ RB #1.... With that in mind...how are Nesbitt's passing abilities when going over the middle....Oh I hope to see #21 on the field in GT uniform next year, when we have a system in place for a year & a QB that can get him the ball (in stride)....Doubt it will happen but we can dream.(CJ has said since beginning that he came to GT to play for 4yrs. and for a degree). Oh wouldn't that be AWESOME...imagine the headache that would create for D coaches on the schedule for next year inside/outside ACC....
It will be interesting to see if he stays at this position or will be placed in another to take advantage of his running skills...Any guesses?

I think next years QB will be either Threet, Nesbitt, or Ingram. The coaches have already said Ingram throws the best deep ball amongst the current QB's.

Unless all of these three look woeful...i do not see us going with a junior.

Threet will have an advantage from early enrollment, player excitement, mechanics, and size. He is 6-5 to 6-6, while Nesbitt is 5-11 to 6-0. Threet is a rally the troops charismatic leader which our offense could use.

Nesbitt is an athlete that may develop into a super QB but would want to see the field instead of redshirt and could be an All-American at WR or FS. He will get every opportunity to win the QB position. Quiet leader.

Ingram is the sleeper with the pedigree and will have two fall's and one spring under his belt. Tall kid with a strong arm. More of a quiet leader like Nesbitt.

Ohh Happy Day!!! I was hoping all year that Nesbitt would end up at Tech. Great, Great choice young man, Welcome to the Flats!!!!!!

Excellent!

I bet there aren't going to be too many redshirts with this class.

Thats really great, I dont follow recruiting too much, just hear it by word of mouth from others and this guys name kept coming up so I knew he was something to be excited about.

His stats from last year are pretty amazing, 4500 yds on the ground and in the air, and a few interceptions playing the other side of the ball. Seems like a good kid with a good head on his shoulders... "none of that hoopla crap".

I LOVE GA kids wearing the white and gold!

My money says its his job to lose next year. IMO our best pick up so far. Can't wait to see him play next year.

We will see either Nesbitt or Threet on the field next year. I will predict that right now!

Midatlantic beat me to it...

We should hope that Booker is good enough to be our
starting QB next year for a number of reasons.

1. It would mean that he beat out all of the existing
Qbs for the job.

2. It would give Nesbitt & Threatt a chance to RS
& get to know the system & get adjusted to college.

3. Booker already would have 3 yrs of college ball to
understand the speed & what's needed to win games
at this level.

4. Booker was a 4 star himself out of HS & has a
great arm.

5. Booker is at least 6'4" 230#. He is not fragile &
he can see over the middle.

6. You know..

7. Booker had a chance to be tutored by Borges,
Aub's OC for the last 2 yrs, which can't hurt.

8. A freshman QB , regardless of how talented,
would cost us a game or two because of some of
the above mentioned reasons.

9. Best depth ever @ QB @ GT IMO.

Sorry, but next year's QB is going to be Booker, unless he disappeared or something.

I really doubt that. He is not on scholarship and the coaches have no plan to put him on scholarship unless a miracle happens.

He will start dressing with the team in the spring and we shall see.

He chose GT solely on his own with no recruiting from the coaches.

Best of luck to him though.

Fantastic! The recruiting news just keeps bettering itself week after week.
