I saved this freeze frame last night from the Vandy game. This is the naked bootleg that won us the game. It pretty much tells the story of the game.
Regardless of the play being called, if you execute it to perfection it will work more often than not.
Note a few things in this picture:
1)The d-line immediately pushed to wide side of the field
2)We only pulled the right guard (hard to make him out, but he is just above RB)
3)Look at the Vandy's linebackers. they appear to be looking completely to the wide side
4)PJ immediately sold the run to the wide side. Look at how much of an angle he has already made.
5)The only defenders not in view are the safties. They must have bit REALLY HARD on the fake, since they were no where to be found until Reggie was already at the goaline.
