Petrino?

I know it's a stretch but It looks to me like Petrino doesn't enjoy coaching players that make more than he does. His communication inability with professionals has been mentioned more than once.

There's no doubt in my mind that Petrino is headed back to college sooner or later.

He'll be in the NFL AT LEAST one more year.

What sounded intriguing to me is LSU if Les goes to Michigan. He wouldn't like to cut and run from ATL, but that might be too good of an opportunity to pass up.

Re: I hate it but you're probably right **

I think he's building a better rapport with his team - they got started off on the wrong foot but all sources indicate that things are improving in that department. Also, the ownership is 100% behind him and it looks like they're going to do everything they can in the offseason to give him some more players.

If Petrino wanted back in the NCAA he would call Michigan today and they would hire him tomorrow... They're salivating for some offensive ingenuity in Ann Arbor [not unlike us] and I think the proven Petrino would get preference over the talent-loaded Miles.

The only way he would come here is if he didn't want to move or if he wanted to stay in a city in the South. Or, if he wanted to prove how much of a badass he is.

Or, if he desperately wanted a significant decrease in annual salary.
