The first time or two that we played at Pitt, the tickets I got through the GTAA were in the low end zone close to the river. Two years ago and this year, the tickets I got through the GTAA were in the nosebleed 500 level in the opposite end zone.
I just got an e-mail from GTAA that's unprecedented in my years of attending road games:
Odd, but good for me, I guess. I wonder if this is the difference between "full band and pep band" or "pep band and no band."

Thank you for your purchase of tickets for the Georgia Tech vs Pittsburgh game at Heinz Field. The quantity needed for the band has decreased for this game opening up seats in the lower level. If you would like to relocate your seats to the lower level, you can exchange your tickets in person this Saturday. (The seats will be located in Section 101 between rows L-Q.)
