PJ = Highest Scoring D-I Offense in the 20th Century

Keep looking down the list. He was also the HC at Georgia Southern in 1998 and 2000. Also he was the OC at GSU in 1986.

With all this chatter about how effective PJ's offense will be against BCS teams and the impact it has on recruiting "pro" style players....

I expect PJ's offense early next year to look very similar to what he has run in the past. He HAS to start from the base of what he knows, however, he also has to use the talent he has and that means introducing some adaptations to open the offense a little particularly the passing game, particularly as the year goes on.

This will be his true measure of success on the Flats. If he runs the same offense with no variation, I believe he will have very Chanish results. But I believe he has shown that he is too smart to play the same tune forever and that he will adapt to his players. That means that we still need to recruit the best athletes we can get and they should have no fear it will hurt their NFL chances.

Pro style players are over rated, and we never got that many to begin with.

Hell PJ has had higher profile pro players at Georgia Southern than we've had at Tech.
