Just want to say...."what comes around goes around". Now you know how we felt 6 years ago.

He was never YOUR Johnson. He was OUR Johnson.

GSU (Erk Russel) in 1983 gave a jr college asst coach a chance to implement an offensive scheme that anyone else would have laughed at.

GSU gave Paul Johnson his first shot a HC.

PJ belongs in GA - I just wish it were back at GSU - where he is TRULY a legend!!

Welcome Home PJ. We can't wait to whooop them dawgs!! I don't care if it is with Georgia Wreck (wait, I'm a Tech fan now - OUCH).

I truly hope someone on PJs staff takes the Navy job. It will be like you guys are staying in the family. I would like to see the Paul John Spread Option offense live on.

(all this is assuming he does actually take the job)

yes, very true. here's my favorite part:

My dad grew up in south Georgia, but has always rooted for Tech and ugag. Having had a son go to each, he tries to stay pretty moderate in the rival and be an objective observer for the most part.

He went to Georgia Southern (when it was the C, not the U) and has had season tickets since they started football back up with Erk. I haven't talked with him about it yet, but I can almost guarantee you that he will be swinging toward the right side with this hire.

Georgia Southern folks love PJ, and I know a lot of them that don't like ugag. Just added incentive to become Tech fans. It's nice to at least start with that.
