Places to hang out on gameday?

Are there any places on/off Tech campus that are must see for Tech fans or even visiting fans? Bars, restaurants, tailgating spots, etc.

The Varsity is a must; hopefully you already know about it though!

Best bet is midtown, to the east and northeast of campus. Tech Square (5th street on east side of I-85 overpass) is the newest and interesting part of the campus. Lots of tailgating on the west side of the campus.

It's even better now. they changed owners to a younger guy who wants to make it more of a sports bar type deal...installing flat screens and such. And of course, the massive projector playing the Tech games helps too.

GREAT food as well.

Highland cigar, if you like a smoke from time to time. Good food, drinks, and atmosphere.
