Georgia would still go in that scenario?

The playoff committee are cowards. If UGA gets blown out they will still put them in. It's disgusting.

Fake news. Too many big companies have sunk money into the SEC. Come hell or high water, a SEC school will be in it.

Ohio State lost their first round playoff game. Spanked at home. They should not be part of the conversation.

This year might hasten in the expanded playoff earlier than 2026.

To an undefeated #3. If uGA loses to LSU why are they more deserving?

Where did I mention UGAg?

If UGAg loses to LSU, then they lost their first round playoff game and should also be removed from consideration.

Expanding the CFP to 8 teams is going to make this nonsense worse. What's the point in having a conference playoff game if you can lose and still get in the CFP? If you can't win your division to get to your conference playoff game, then why can you still get into the CFP?

The sample size of 12 games doesn't allow for an ELO-like rating of all teams. Head to head is the best indicator. OSU loses to Michigan, Michigan shouldn't have to beat them again to prove they are the better team.

I know - follow the $$$.

What I mean is that there are no more undefeated teams left. Who goes?
