Quincy Carter can start in the NFL and Little Joe and Woody Dantzler never take a snap? Any thoughts?
 
He has great size and arm strength and an owner that invested a high draft pick in him. There are lots of great college QB's that never get an opportunity in the NFL. It does seem crazy when you have guys like John Kitna and QC starting.
 
The college and pro games are totally different. In the case of a quarterback, the pro game is based on pure passing QB's with a lot of height and vision to see over the defensive linemen.

It is seldom a short QB can excell in the pros as a pure drop back passer.

Joe Ham's taken some NFL snaps. I saw him fumble at the GA Dome. He got in late after a Bucs blowout.

It'd be a tough for him to get another shot considering he wasn't getting much interest before the knee injury (Dungy liked him). I'm pulling for him, but speaking about hopeless causes, I've been a Falcons fan my entire life.

I think the thing with Quincy is that Jerry Jones is not very smart and is very stubborn. Does anyone remember the MNF game with Dallas and Washington last year? They had this graphic with Quincy's QB rating as 130.1, then moved the decimal to the left. It was funny stuff.
 
Jerry Jones has his head up his a$$ therefore Quincy. Joe Ham just had knee surgery. See any difference?
 
I watched Joe in NFL Europe, I think he was the MVP before he blew his knee out in the playoffs. And Quincy Carter made his Amazing comback against Carolina on 2 poorly underthrown balls that fell into Dallas receivers hands after being dropped by the defense. Quincy Carter will never be good because he isnt smart, he barely graduated at SW Dekalb. Also how many of his players can really understand what he is saying in the huddle, I know I never understood him
