Suggs(to put it nicely) is not good enough to play QB for us. He just is not good enough.

Here are a few quick points:
1) Gailey lost the game in the waning moments of the 1st half.
2) Suggs lost the game from his 1st pass attempt of the game.
3) 7 turnovers will not win you a game against a team the caliber of Fresno State, with or without it's star players.
4) Boy, we have a lot of work to do in the next 8 months.
5) It's one thing to get beat by a better team, but to get beat by an inferior team by shooting yourself in the foot, that hurts.
6) Chan, this is not the NFL.
7) A.J., this is not MacEachern High School.
8) ACE, hang on to the dad gum ball.
9) Bilbo 4th and 1, get the friggin 1st down.
10) MArvious Hester, knock the ball away, not up in the air and then fall down.
11) Spartan Stadium officials, fix your football field so it doesn't look like a hurricane just ripped through with gale force winds. I know it rained all week but come on.
12) Tech, stay with white jerseys and gold pants.
0-2 this year with different unis. Loss to Miami in Gator with gold jerseys, loss to Boston College with same unis, loss to Wake this year, and loss to Fresno in all whites. Only win was 52-20 over Wake in 2000. That's 1-4.

Finally 13) Tech fans, this is not the end of the world, it just seems like it. Sorry Seniors, sorry Luke Manget, if only you didn't hurt yourself before the UNC game.

Chan's resolution needs to be: I will start Bilbo, and I will not make bonehead calls.

Sorry Phil Fulmer for your 1-3 start in 2000. Now we feel your pain.

More like, "Sorry Luke, if only we had a more cohesive offense that could get us into the end zone more often."

Dust, if u think there was any comparison between AJ & DB you were not paying attention. The talent gap between the two is obvious.! THWG

gee dust i think that considering bilbo rode the pine for MUCH of the season he did a pretty good job. it takes experience to succeed and that is something cg didn't give this young man.

Dust, to answer your question, I am one of those pro-Bilbo/anti-Suggs people.

Dusty,
As ugly as 4 ints were, he still scored twice as much as Suggs.

Despite the obvious mistakes that DB made in the second half of the game he plays with more emotion and the team seems to play more inspired when he's at the helm (it's called leadership)... even with 4 interceptions he continued to return to the field and played better with each series... we were still in position to win after 7 TO's...
given that he has not played in any significant game day situations this season and given the field conditions I think he played awesome...

Question... if DB had been allowed equal opportunitites during the season to gain experience as Suggs who do you think would have progressed more???

Question... with AJ not feeling well and not playing well during the Duke game why was DB not allowed the second half to play??? Coach Gailey's remarks about his not being satisfied with the QB's performance is a clear knock at his own inabilities to put each of them in positions that benefit the team... The major failing of the coach this season is the near lack of progress of the QB's...
