A late season matchup against the defending National Champs. The polls expect the Tigers to have a bit of a dropoff this season, and by this point in the season they will have faced Auburn, Louisville and VT among others. They have a bye week prior to our game, so plenty of time to prepare for what we are going to throw at them.

They've lost a solid QB and RB on offense, and a host of players on both sides of the ball. And Venables is going to have a special defensive plan all ready to go for sure.

We all like to talk about trap games here on Stingtalk, and this game has all of the markings of a trap game. For Clemson. They will possibly be undefeated coming into the game, with 3 difficult games following ours to close out the season.

Too many unknowns for the Tech offense currently to make a good guess, but having to play on the road against a well-rested Clemson team is tough, even if they aren't as good as they have been recently. This is the hardest match-up on our schedule, so not expecting a win here.

Not gonna lie, this is the only game on the schedule that I really feel bad about. We haven't really moved the ball on Clemson at all since Venables has been there. Even in 2014 we had a well below average offensive performance, but our defense played lights out. Obviously anything can happen, but I think we're gonna have to be creative and hit some big plays on offense, and force turnovers on defense.

IMO, Miami will be the most difficult matchup of the season, not that it makes Clemmons any easier

They have a bye week to prepare and have arguably the best front 7 in the country. That's not a good recipe for success for any team facing Clemson. I am curious to see how they will drop off on offense. Watson was a generational QB, just like Jameis at FSU, no way they will be as potent on offense.

Voter apathy appears to be setting in. Get out the vote folks!
