In one of the more baffling preseason rankings, the VT team coming off a losing record is sniffing the Top 25 in numerous polls. They were young on defense, sure, but a year of experience might not help them overcome the fact that Foster is on the tail end of his career and really doesn't have much to work toward at this point. Offensively they return a Top 5 ACC QB and have experienced WRs and RBs. This late season game will be a great test of how each team has progressed this season.
The Jackets have won 4 of the past 5 in the series.
