The media seems to think VPISU is going to be decent. I don't really understand how they don't suck this year. Their recruiting was almost less than G5 quality for a couple years.

My worry is that our defense the past two years seems to be especially vulnerable to the spread (running or throwing). The only exception has been an exceptionally bad FSU.

I think the DL will be a surprising strength this year. We got some really good transfers, plus 2(+) starters back from injury.

Their first team is still pretty good but they’ve got zero depth at basically every position. So if they stay healthy they could win 9 (their schedule is a cakewalk). They kicked off the LB who murdered a guy over the summer but think they just let the highest rated kid on their team back in after he plead down from felony strangulation against a family member to some misdemeanors.

Next year is where their cracks will show. 22/23 they’ll be down there with Duke at the bottom of the Coastal. Their 2022 schedule is something else. Their non-division schedule:
