Those are our year in, year out goals. Not to shabby hitting two out of the three. And considering that we did tie for our division title, CPJ has done an incredible job this year.

We need higher goals. :D

I really don't care to be ranked very high going into next season. We seem to do better when we're playing as an underdog.

This needs to end NOW. We will never content for a national championship if we say we shouldn't be ranked because we play better when we aren't. CPJ is here to win CHAMPIONSHIPS and not just at the conference level. As a fan, I want to see that happen sooner rather than later, and the only way in the forseeable future is for us to be ranked #1 or #2 at the end of the season to play for the BCS. And you can take it to the bank that we won't end the season #1 or #2 unless we start the season ranked, at least until the ACC gets more respect (unlikely given the $$$ pouring between the networks and the SEC).

Yeah but we need to get out of that mindset. Else we will have same thing as this year where only team we won while ranked was against a higher ranked UGA.

Correct--Georgia's final positioning is more a function of them starting out #1 than of them being worthy of a top ten ranking. They fell ten spots over the season. We rose something like 40+ positions. The preseason rankings, although completely unfair, are essential to a program for just that reason. If we had started in the top 25 and won the nine games that we did, we would have been #11 or #12 at the end of the year even with the LSU loss.
