College football coaches are expecting a bustling week in the NCAA transfer portal. Athletes must give schools a "written request to enter" the portal by May 1 "if they participate in a fall or winter sport."

Given the performance decline across the entire staff, the issue is coaching not talent.

A lot of these guys were top pitching prospects out of HS, but have steadily regressed at Tech. All under Borrell’s “coaching” - almost a certainty they move on to somebody else this off-season, even if CDH decides to stay. Coupling it with CDH retirement and Ramsey promotion would be smoothest way.

I’d take similar results to the last round of transfers - Simpson & Borden were big time wins, Prince & Rubinstein decent subs. Only McNamee hasn’t worked out.

The One-Time Transfer Exception Criteria posted by the OP clearly states after the blue highlight “or July 1 if they participate in a spring sport…”.
I think I’d go with July 1.
